On January 11, 2026, four major events—the China Laser CEO Summit & Annual Gala, the 3rd Session of the 3rd Member Congress of Guangdong Laser Industry Association, the First Member Congress of the 3rd General Election of Shenzhen Laser Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Association, and the Greater Bay Area AI + Laser Welding Industry Summit—were held jointly and grandly in Bao’an, Shenzhen.
On the same day, authoritative experts, representatives from research institutes, and industry elites in the laser field across the country gathered together to witness this industrial event integrating ideological exchanges, resource matching, and honor recognition.

Leadership Addresses:
Building Consensus and Charting the Course
At the opening of the conference, Wu Li, President of Shenzhen General Chamber of Industry, delivered an address in which she fully affirmed the strategic status of the laser industry as a core pillar of advanced manufacturing. She noted that Shenzhen has built a world-leading laser industry chain ecosystem, while the provincial and municipal laser associations have played a pivotal bridging role in driving technological innovation, brand building and international cooperation. Ms. Wu stated that Shenzhen General Chamber of Industry will continue to deepen cooperation with the two associations, providing targeted services in policy alignment, innovation promotion and international exchanges to support the laser industry's leap toward new quality productive forces.
Huang Zhijia, President of Guangdong Laser Industry Association and Chairman of JPT Optoelectronics, shared his insights from attending the CES exhibition and offered an in-depth analysis of the rising trend of physical intelligence driven by AI. He pointed out that the industry completed in-depth consolidation in 2025, and it is expected to enter a new phase featuring "quality first and systemic capabilities as the decisive factor" in 2026. In conclusion, he called on enterprises to return to fundamentals, focus on developing expertise in niche sectors, pursue collective overseas expansion, resist vicious internal competition, and jointly build a healthy and sustainable industrial ecosystem.

Association Annual Meetings:
Consolidating Organizational Foundations and Mapping Out a New Blueprint
On the afternoon of the same day, the 3rd Session of the 3rd Member Congress of Guangdong Laser Industry Association was held successfully. The meeting systematically summarized the work achievements in 2025 and arranged the key tasks for 2026. It also adopted the reports of the Board of Supervisors and the financial report, admitted new members and board members, optimized the organizational structure, and approved the honorary position management system, further strengthening the organizational capacity.
Held concurrently, the 3rd General Election Congress and First Member Congress of Shenzhen Laser Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Association successfully completed the organizational transition. A new council, board of supervisors and leadership team were democratically elected, with Gao Yunpeng, Chairman of Beijing Han's Investment Management Co., Ltd., being elected as the new president. The congress also approved the agenda items including the amendment of the association's articles of association and the establishment of professional committees.
Shao Huo, Secretary of the Party Branch of Guangdong Laser Industry Association, delivered a detailed report on the association's 2025 work summary and 2026 work plan, which reviewed the major work of the association in 2025. For the 2026 work plan, the association will further implement its ten core functions—including government-enterprise coordination and bridging services, international cooperation and market linkage, standard leadership and brand building, cluster cultivation and full-industry-chain services, talent development and resource connection—to deliver high-quality services and drive industry development.

AI + Laser Welding Summit:
Driving Intelligent Integration and Unlocking New Tracks
As a key segment of this grand event, the Greater Bay Area AI + Laser Welding Industry Summit focused on cutting-edge technologies. Led by Fan Dianyuan, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, representatives from industry, academia, research and application sectors including Han's Photonics, South China University of Technology, TCL, and the Hardware Knife & Scissors Research Institute gathered to conduct an in-depth discussion on how AI algorithms can empower laser welding process optimization, defect detection and intelligent control.
The forum concluded that the in-depth integration of AI and laser technology will reshape manufacturing paradigms, providing high-precision, high-efficiency and high-consistency solutions for end-user sectors such as new energy, home appliances and hardware, and opening up a new blue ocean for industrial growth.

In the keynote presentation session, Yu Zhenhua, Deputy General Manager of Shenzhen Han's Photonics Laser Technology Co., Ltd., shared insights themed "AI Empowerment·Intelligent Welding for the Future–The Technological Innovation Journey of Han's Photonics Welding Lasers".
Wu Yong, Laser Product Director of Shenzhen Zmotion Technology Co., Ltd., delivered a presentation titled "Vision Laser Galvanometer Motion Control Cards Empowering the Upgrade of the Laser Industry".
Wu Qingyun, Investment Promotion Manager of Xinqiaodong Advanced Manufacturing Industrial Park, gave a project promotion speech named "Meet Xinqiaodong, Embrace the Future" for the Xinqiaodong Advanced Manufacturing Industrial Park.
The presentations delivered by the three guests have linked high-quality industrial momentum and injected new vitality into the development of the laser industry.

Embracing Transformation and Strengthening Cooperation
In the evening, the dinner of "China Laser CEO Shenzhen Night" kicked off in a warm and lively atmosphere.
Zhuang Zhiyong, representative of the Party Committee of Lianhua Sub-district Financial Business District, stated in his speech that Shenzhen is a hub of advanced business, and Bao’an District is a fertile ground for the development of the laser industry, where industry associations have played a pivotal bridging role. He added that the Party Committee of the Financial Business District will actively leverage its own advantages to serve as a companion and service provider for the industry, and jointly promote the high-quality development of the regional economy.
Shen Ping, Global President of the IEEE Photonics Society, highly commended the rapid development and global influence of China's laser industry. He expressed his expectation to strengthen cooperation with the international academic and industrial communities to jointly drive the innovation and application of photonics technology.
Huang Zhijia, President of Guangdong Laser Industry Association, extended a warm welcome and sincere gratitude to all attending guests. A total of 41 enterprises were included in the initial batch.
